Call for Volunteers: Join the Cobblestone Heritage Project in Zagori!

Imagine Heritage is thrilled to invite dedicated volunteers to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime cultural heritage initiative:
“Cobblestone Heritage: Reviving the Paths of Zagori”
📍 Vitsa, Zagori, Greece
📅 28 July – 6 August 2025
🚍 Departure from Athens: 27 July
🏡 Return: 7 August

🔨 What is it about?

Supported by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, this project involves the uncovering and restoration of a historic cobbled path in the mountainous village of Vitsa. Under the guidance of traditional artisans and cultural heritage experts, volunteers will engage in meaningful daily work, discover local traditions, and live a truly immersive experience in one of the most stunning landscapes in Greece.

🙌 What’s included?

✔ Full accommodation (shared tents)
✔ 3 meals/day
✔ All transportation from/to Athens
✔ Participation in cultural workshops, an academic event, and a visit to the historic village of Tsepelovo and the Frosso Ioannidou Mansion

🧰 What will you do?

• 5 working days of hands-on restoration (5 hrs/day)
• Weekend of rest & cultural exchange
• Workshops on traditional paving, folklore, and intangible heritage
• Guided village tours & cultural evenings
