Why Culture Matters: Connecting Timișoara, Eleusis and Florence Through Cultural Heritage

Imagine Heritage is pleased to share the participation of its CEO, Spyro, in Why Culture Matters in Timișoara, Romania — an inspiring gathering bringing together professionals from Romania’s cultural heritage sector and the wider European cultural community.

As part of the event, our CEO, Spyridon St. Kogkas, designed and delivered two workshops exploring how cultural heritage and destination management can foster meaningful international cooperation.

🇷🇴 Timișoara & Eleusis — Building on their shared experience as European Capitals of Culture in 2023, the workshop explored how this common milestone can open new pathways for cultural understanding, knowledge exchange, and lasting collaboration between Romania and Greece.

🇷🇴 Timișoara & Florence — The second workshop examined how destination management can move beyond promotion to create long-term cultural relationships, educational exchanges, shared practices, and opportunities for sustainable development.

Through international educational and cultural initiatives, we work to transform shared heritage into meaningful partnerships, new knowledge, and lasting impact.
