Oral Storytellings in Kimolos 📖
Through authentic interviews with residents, we record and preserve the island’s intangible cultural heritage: stories, local myths, traditions, and crafts at risk of being lost.
✨ From the 15th Century to Today and Tomorrow: Oral testimonies engage in a dialogue with the historical texts of the Italian traveler Cristoforo Buondelmonti (15th century). The findings are transformed into a modern Experiential Memory Map and educational “Edu-boxes” for schools across the Cyclades.
🤝 Partnership of Organizations:
🟢 Kimolistes NPO (Lead Organization): Leveraging their long-standing connection with the local community, they coordinate experiential workshops, fieldwork, and the collection of testimonies.
🔵 Imagine Heritage NPO (Strategic Partner): Responsible for the project’s scientific development and structuring, scientific coordination, historical documentation, and linking Buondelmonti’s sources with the field—in collaboration with Prof. Lorenzo Calvelli—as well as for designing the educational tools and the Memory Map.
🟠 Cyclades Unified AMKE (Strategic Partner): Focuses on designing and disseminating educational activities in Cycladic schools, organizing online workshops, and strengthening networking, leveraging data collected since 2021.
The project is funded by the Takis Iliopoulos Foundation under the “Voices of the Aegean” call for proposals.
Συλλογή Προφορικών Αφηγήσεων στην Κίμωλο 📖
Μέσα από αυθεντικές συνεντεύξεις με τους κατοίκους, καταγράφουμε και διασώζουμε την άυλη πολιτιστική κληρονομιά του νησιού: ιστορίες, τοπικούς μύθους, παραδόσεις και τέχνες που κινδυνεύουν να χαθούν.
✨ Από τον 15ο αιώνα στο Σήμερα και το Αύριο:
Οι προφορικές μαρτυρίες συνομιλούν με τα ιστορικά κείμενα του Ιταλού περιηγητή Cristoforo Buondelmonti (15ος αι.). Τα ευρήματα μετουσιώνονται σε έναν σύγχρονο Βιωματικό Χάρτη Αναμνήσεων και σε εκπαιδευτικά Edu-boxes για τα σχολεία των Κυκλάδων.

🔵 Imagine Heritage ΑΜΚΕ(Στρατηγικός Εταίρος): Υπεύθυνη για την επιστημονική δημιουργία και διαμόρφωση του έργου, τον επιστημονικό συντονισμό, την ιστορική τεκμηρίωση και τη διασύνδεση των πηγών Buondelmonti με το πεδίο-σε συνεργασία με τον καθ. Lorenzo Calvelli καθώς και για τον σχεδιασμό των εκπαιδευτικών εργαλείων και του Χάρτη Αναμνήσεων.
🟠 Cyclades Unified ΑΜΚΕ @cycladesunified_ (Στρατηγικός Εταίρος) : Εστιάζει στον σχεδιασμό και τη διάχυση των εκπαιδευτικών δράσεων στα σχολεία των Κυκλάδων, τη διοργάνωση online workshops και την ενίσχυση της δικτύωσης, αξιοποιώντας τις καταγραφές που υλοποιεί από το 2021.
Το έργο πραγματοποιείται με τη χρηματοδότηση του Ιδρύματος Τάκη Ηλιόπουλου στο πλαίσιο της πρόσκλησης «Φωνές του Αιγαίου».
