We are excited to inform you that our EU Project Manager, Olga Soulachaki, was invited to lead a workshop on the international C.R.E.A. Cultura Festival, held in Museo Capitolare Diocesano Foligno, Italy, at March 2026.

This interactive workshop “Uncovering the Invisible” connected the successful experience of highlighting a ~350-year-old cobblestone path in Vitsa, Zagori, with the local cultural heritage of Foligno.

Through this case study, participants explored how local communities and volunteer groups can act as catalysts for the discovery of “invisible” or forgotten elements of cultural heritage — both tangible and intangible.

Methodology (non-formal learning in 2 stages):

○Brief presentation of the process through which a buried historical path was transformed into a living cultural resource for the local community of Vitsa, Zagori.

○Interactive activity and open dialogue, where participants were invited to identify and highlight “invisible” or neglected points of cultural value in their own local communities.
