We are proud to announce the participation of Spyridon St. Kogkas, representing Imagine Heritage, as a speaker at the upcoming international conference hosted at the historic Palazzo Rucellai by ISI Florence on October 21, 2025.
The conference, titled
“Vittorio Ricci OP and Other Missionaries in the Philippines and the South China Sea (1500–1800)”,
brings together leading scholars and experts exploring intersections of religious, cultural, and diplomatic history between Europe and Asia.
In his presentation, titled
“The Vatican’s Missionary Heritage as a Resource for Global Cooperation”,
Mr. Kogkas will examine how the Vatican’s missionary legacy can be reinterpreted both as a historical phenomenon and as a foundation for contemporary forms of dialogue, intercultural collaboration, and global exchange.
By revisiting this shared heritage, his talk aims to uncover frameworks that remain relevant to today’s international challenges, highlighting how cultural history continues to inspire pathways toward mutual understanding and cooperation.
