We are delighted to have a VIDCAST with Filippo Scafi, Researcher in Philosophy, PhD Candidate, and Lecturer at the Global Center for Advanced Studies, on reflections on Renaissance-Anti Renaissance.
His research focuses on the intersections of philosophical discourse, epistemology, anthropology and psychoanalysis, with a particular interest in Francois Laruelle’s non-philosophy and the politics of Alternity.
One of his lines of research, the one that interests us today, is an inquiry into the mechanisms of culture, the formation of subjectivity, and the conditions of the human.
